Science OlympiadScience Olympiad is a nationwide competition about various scientific topics, ranging from genetics to technology and has many different event types as well! It starts in Middle School and continues throughout High School, making it a great, competitive extra curricular! The BSD Science Olympiad organizers have decided to incorporate this program at an Elementary School level to help kids feel more prepared for the competitiveness of Middle School and beyond. In this program, they take students through every topic and category of Science Olympiad, including written portions, hands-on projects, weekly quizzes, and lots of prizes! From the 2025 school year onwards, they will also be starting inter-school competitions to give students a simulation of the actual experience!
