Who We Are

The LHE PTSA is a nonprofit organization run by an all-volunteer group of parents, caregivers, teachers, students and community members. 
 
Mission
To advocate for and support the education, health, safety and well-being of all Lake Hills Elementary School students, families and staff by building and supporting programs and events that:

▪ Promote and support parental involvement and opportunities for connection among school, family and community

▪ Celebrate our diversity
 
▪ Enrich our children's educational experience

▪ Communicate clearly and share information between and among families, staff and students
 
▪ Strengthen community among school, families and supporters
 
▪ Seek input from a wide spectrum of viewpoints and experiences

▪ Strengthen the partnership between our PTSA and Lake Hills staff
 

The PTSA Board of Directors Serves to:

• Appoint chairpersons and members of the standing committees
• Schedule board and association meetings
• Schedule the calendar of events & fundraisers
• Approve routine bills within the limits of the budget
• Conduct the business of the PTSA between board meetings
• Develop goals for the association for presentation to the board of directors and general membership for approval
